I love old Physique Pictorial magazines, and I try to collect as many originals as I can. The magazine championed many great gay artists like Tom of Finland, Quaintance and Art Bob, as well as physique photography and gay erotica. As well as famous body builders or actors, they paid a lot of guys off the street to pose in posing pouches, and later on, fully naked. These magazines are like little time machines, and really tell us a lot about the gay community at the time.

Hunk of the Week: MARCUS PATRICK: Post 3: Actor, Former Soap star, model and stripper

Gorgeous hunk Marcus Patrick famously appeared in Playgirl in a semi nude layout. He also posed for a few full frontal shots in all his glory, that he didn't think would be published, they were. He blames that photo-shoot for a lapse in his soap & movie career in 2007. He seems to have bounced back in a few films, and by doing a bit of club work to make ends meet. (see photos)  He obviously has the talent for anything he applies himself to. An enormous talent. As far as actors appearing nude, I think there should be more of it.  The shots Marcus did for Playgirl were very tastefully done...however jaw dropping. And I think that was the problem, pure jealousy on the part of those in high places.  His film and TV work includes.....
