COMING OUT OF THE FOG:
Finally heard from my bf again on the train 30 minutes from Paris after staying at the Chateau Versailles. He tells me the Marie Antoinette Queen's Hamlet properties are wonderful, and he prefers them to the main Chateau. Also that his favorite city is now Paris, and mine is still New York, as I haven't been to Paris. Well I hope to get there with him this year now that he has become familiar with the city. He is meeting up with Uta and our friend performance artist Meow Meow finally. He had lunch in the Cristal room, and tells me the decor is all by Phillipe Starke. The sun is out, the gorgeous tennis stars are on the courts opposite practicing with their shirts off....so maybe I will take the pugs to the park. Robbie.

THOUGHTS: AUSTRALIA DAY 2010
Thought I'd wish you all a very happy Australia day..I can hear the fireworks go off as we speak. Ellen celebrated Australia Day with the Thunder from Down Under boys on her show today. At least that made me smile. Am thinking of my bf C in Paris, the city of love....I love you and miss you. Robbie.

This a beautiful looking group of people isn't it? This show will be great, I hope we get it here. I mean just seeing the boys in their undies will kill me! And poor Justin isn't smiling at all here is he? Justin...there is life after Miley......this will be a great adventure for you. I realize you are straight and a church going boy.....but we are here to have fun. And you will. (added Jan 27)
One of my all time favorites, Justin Gaston is still getting over having his heart broken by Miley Cyrus. But Justin, a male model, singer and musician appears in the new reality show 'If I Can Dream' by American Idol's Simon Fuller. The other 'hottie' housemate seen here in group shots in January 2010, is model Ben Elliott. (see my archives)
Thoughts:
Don't expect me to post personal thoughts very often. I am a really private person..I am the way I am, individual yes, born in the wrong era yes. My partner (for life & love) is away in Paris, so out of sheer boredom I have set up two blogs, this being the first. My best online friend Marcus (when he's speaking to me) has helped me the most, as I really have no idea what I'm doing. Marcus, I do appreciate you. Here you will find groups of things I care about, admire or find beautiful. I have also posted some of my own art, and photographs. I will post some photos from my trip to Las Vegas and L.A soon.

FAMOUS CARS 1: THE GREEN HORNET'S BLACK BEAUTY
The fabulous Black Beauty was a specially modified 1966 Chrysler Crown Imperial (see outdoor shot) built by Dean Jeffries for the classic 60's series & movies The Green Hornet starring Van Williams as The Green Hornet and Bruce Lee as Kato. The original Black Beauty also appeared in an episode of the cult TV series Batman, featuring advanced technology and fire explosive rockets and charges. It had a gas nozzle and a scanner built into a TV camera that could see miles ahead. The car could create a smoke screen as a diversion, and spread tacks to help escape its attacker.
The new Black Beauty, seen here in all its glory at the launch for the 2010 Green Hornet movie starring Seth Green, also uses a modified Chrysler Crown Imperial as a homage to the original car, but updates the equipment. Only recently unveiled to the public it's new weapons include rockets, mini guns and a gigantic flame thrower. I am very pleased to see that Black Beauty hasn't been changed to much. A true classic should never be tampered with.

STEVE REEVES BODY BUILDER Group 1
I have always liked Steve Reeves because he was a favorite of my father's, who was also a body builder in his youth. My parents were a very handsome couple, my mother winning a beauty contest in my home town. My Dad actually looked a little like Steve Reeves, so in a way, its because of him that I am fascinated by these all 'natural' musclemen of the 50's. I am also particularly interested in the guys who appeared with Mae West in her Las Vegas Muscleman Revue, Dick DuBois, Mickey Hargitay, Paul Novak and others.
