I like old photos & postcards of people...I try to work out who they were, what their relationships were. Are they best mates or lovers? Male mateship in history is an interesting photographic grouping.... especially if a face from the past looks modern. What stories and lives did these men have?

I love these..I do the same with old pics and such...always try and figure out the story.
I was looking through opportunity shops and ebay for lots of old photos to buy, and saw whole family albums for sale. I wondered why these photos weren't in homes, safe from harm, or strangers eyes. Its sad in a way, to see a photo of someone and not know who they are, but fascinating also. I suppose people pass away, and photo albums are discarded. But these were real people with real lives and stories, and by seeing theor photos, we are reliving that moment again. And somewhere, somehow I know they know that. Robbie. (blog curator)
