I like collecting postcards on many subjects, and particularly postcards of real people. Looking at old postcards is like looking into another time and place. The clothes, the hair, the colors are unusual, but the feeling of the moment is still there. These postcards tell us a lot about the people in them, the young men who joined the Navy, to go to war. I also like to find faces that look contemporary and modern, and out of their own time.

I love vintage photos, these are amazing.
I found most of these on Ebay this week, and bought a few for my postcard collection. They must have had photos taken and made into postcards for friends and family. Robbie.
