The cult underground movie Pink Narcissus was filmed mostly on super 8 from 1963 to 1970 in the small New York apartment of James Bidgood. It is about the gay fantasy's of a young boy. The highly colored imaginative sets influenced the style and work of later artists Pierre et Gilles.
